One of my favorite things to do is to design easy, quick quilts with a simple block and show the various ways to layout the quilt tops.
Here are some sample quilt top layouts using this simple block but twisted and turned in different directions. This is Page 2 of quilt tops - Page One is here.

Above has alternate rows flipped and
surrounded by sashing.
Above shows the rectangle portions
turned to meet up in alternate rows and

4-patch blocks, but are not.
