Sue Teeter - Gainesville, Texas
I just got back to quilting after about 16 yrs--enjoying it so much and really enjoying your newsletter. I live about 13 miles south of Gainesville TX -- beautiful area out in the country with lots of oaks, etc. Made and quilted the rail fence in about 5 weeks this winter. Liked doing it as it goes fast. Just finished blocks for log cabin -- really pretty.

This is a lap throw 50"x50" I made for a birthday gift for a 90 year old friend. Machine quilted in the ditch with heart quilted on the flower square. I go to the birthday party today (2/24/2001). My friend Ethel is one of the elderly we visit from church. I used to visit the elderly and now I am one! Thanks for putting it in the gallery. Hope it encourages other quilters to make things for the shut-ins who have no door knob on the inside. It went together very fast too.
"Singerly" yours, Faith
