Susan's Split Block - Rotary Cutting

First page of article on how to make the block for this quilt is here.

[Note: You will need a quilting ruler that allows you to cut squares at accurate angles, check at your local quilting or sewing shop for this type of ruler.]

For rotary cutting you will cut 2 widths of strips.
A is 1-7/8" wide
B is 4.5" wide

Cut a rectangle 5-7/8" from Strip A, cut it diagonally to make 2 triangles. This will be 2 pieces for 2 of the Split Blocks.

From Strip B cut a 4-5/8" piece, then, using a quilting ruler with angles, cut the corner away so that you have a 73 deg. angle as shown.

[I used Electric Quilt 5.0 to prepare this rotary cutting diagram.]
