This easy block could range in size from 8 inches to 12 inches. As you can see there are many ways to color this block. The simplest version on the left shows just the pinwheel on a plain background (called Version "A"). Or you may wish to emphasis the 4 squares at the blade of each pinwheel as shown on the right (Version "B").
I show a method for doing a speedy assembly here for Version A. Or, you may choose to use 12 squares and 4 half-square triangles to make each the block.
