This paper foundation pieced "Pinwheel #9" block was designed for this BOM Series by Susan Druding     

Alien Invasion quilt

#8 - this quilt I named "Alien Invasion" since I think they look like little space ships. Fun for a child's room? Using a dark "starry sky" fabric would be fun for a background, too!   

 
#9 An allover block pattern using the 1/3 blocks with each block reversed in direction.

    
#10 - Similar to Quilt #9, but with very different colors.


#11 - Similar to #9 and #10, but with sashing added to match the point fabric.


#12  A more traditional looking quilt with half the blocks formed with points facing IN and the other blocks with the 1/4 blocks with points facing OUT.


#13. An allover pattern of simple pinwheels.
